Why is the WaveEngine's output port types limited to 'Flow Pump' and 'Variable Light'? Can we get a 'Generic' output type similar to the Hydros Control provides (HYDROS Control - How To Add a Generic Output) ? Ideally, this 'Generic' type would also allow me to set the voltage level out (e.g. output 3v when 'On' and 0v when 'Off')

I feel like I am using the WaveEngine in a way that totally suits my needs but not in a way that it was designed. I have 4 different Modes. I also have 4 different Output lines. I would like the WaveEngine to drive one of the output lines logical high (3.3v.) whenever I'm in the corresponding mode. This will allow a very crude, but sufficient integration in with my Home Assistant server.

The way I have to do this is to create a '0-10v' output 'Pump', set the voltage limits, create a schedule that's enabled 100% for each output to drive the corresponding 'Pump,' and then enable that Schedule in the corresponding 'Mode'. All of this seems overly complex and still somewhat constraining UI.

You could do this with the current firmware, but it would be a bit round about. Assign each of the 0-10V outputs to be a Flow Pump. Then create a constant schedule that runs the output at 33% all the time. Then only have that schedule active in the desired mode. 4 outputs and 4 schedules so it is a bit of a hassle but it should do what you want.
