So I’m leak testing my new 310 gallon system and while doing so I thought I’d start playing around with more of the hydros equipment and getting it set up so that it’s ready to go for when I fill the tank up with saltwater. I have 4 Octo Pulse 4’s along my back wall that I have wired into my Hydros Wave Engine V2. Eventually I’ll want to set up a more detailed and elaborate wave schedule but for right now I’d like to just get the things to turn on, keeps reading pump error.

Here are some screenshots of how I have it set up. For right now I was just trying to have them on ocean swell 24/7. Is it possible to have 2 being synced opposite the pattern another 2 are doing? And do I need the power cord plugged into power on my wave engine? I have it wired in as a collective to my (2) XP8’s, and my control 4.

You have to use the wave engine power supply to power the pump, but doing that you have to remove any power pack that plugs directly into any command buss port. The Wave Engine power pack is ok since it plugs into a special port on the wave engine and not the command buss.

Ok cool, thanks! I didn’t realize I needed to have that plugged in since it’s part of my collective and the XP8’s are plugged in

Thank you I had the same issue. Can't believe I spent an hour trying to figure this out. Should be on the instruction page.
