New user trying to set up my Control X4 pro-pack. I mucked up my first attempt attempt at setting up a collective so I deleted both the X4 and XP8 and started over. When I plugged in the XP8, which powers the X4, the lights no longer are on. The status displays just fine so I tried power cycling the units and rebooted to no avail. Everything seems to work except the blue lights that are normally on the X4 are gone.
What happened and how do I get the lights back?

The lights have a night mode where they are normally off. You can set that time frame in options. Most likely they were just in night mode at that time.

Thank you. I was actually happy they were out, but if I had my way, I'd like a light on the X4 to let me know with a quick visual that it was alive. Didn't like the "breathe" mode but the choice is either that or none. I also would like the same quick visual to see what outlets were active on the XP8.
So far, I'm VERY happy with the Hydros!

If there is an issue the lights will be on even in night mode. Five of mine are in the garage and normally out of my sight. The other 4 are inside cabinets at the tank and also out of sight. I just check in on them with the app. There is more information with the app anyway since I can see what is on and what is off and temp, pH and other inputs.

I agree. Old guy learning new tricks. Lot's of lights on when I was setting it up, then they all went away. Thanks.

Quick question about the green LED "to show it's on": is it possible to turn that off as well in night mode? It is extremely bright. I have 3 controller modules, 2 of which are in my bedroom, and they light the room at night.

There are some lights that do not go off any longer. They would be outlet indication and also an indicator for wifi master and a different indicator for members that are not. There are also LED's lit if there is an issue for troubleshooting purposes.

Thank you, I guess the only choice then is to create a box around them. I wish they would at least dim a bit.

There is a thread on here for making suggestions for the Hydros. You may want to post this as a suggestion to have a way to turn off all lights except for alerts during night hours in case the tank is in a bedroom . Here s a link to that thread HYDROS New Features/Equipment Requests . It sounds like it might be a good addition to have.
