If you have a X4 to try then setup a flow pump using a unused 0-10v output on your X4. Then setup a schedule and use that pump. If it changes flow rates on the tile then you are good to go. It will setup on a 0-10v output without the pump connected to it since there is nothing to tell the X4 there is no pump connected.

I have my X4 in a collective with a wave engine so I cannot test for sure for you. Also all 4 of my 0-10v channels are used for lighting. If I were home I could setup a channel on a flow pump and watch the lights but like I said since it is in a collective and all inputs and outputs are shared with all controllers It would work since there is a WE in my collective regardless of the controller it is on. I would suggest setting up a flow pump output and choose one of you 0-10v as the output port. Once you do that create a schedule and use that pump in the schedule. The output tile will show the percentage that is output to the pump. It will not matter if there is a pump actually connected to that output. If it works then you can go ahead with the pump connection.

I did not realize you did not have the controller yet. Ok I setup a flow pump and switch the 0-10v output from my white lights to it and included it into the flow schedule that is currently running and looked on my camera I have aimed at the tank and watched the white light level go up and down so the X4 0-10v output will physically work in a flow pump output. I think I remember trying it before I got the wave engine and it would work then at that time I was not using those outputs so it was easy to do. Hope this helps.

I did forget to mention that there may be some restrictions on how high a level you can go or how low. Some pumps are limited to the signal. I cannot remember if that was Tunze or not but one would not go over a certian voltage. If that is the case just add a decimal point between the first and second digit from the righ of the percentage and you have the voltage output you will get on the output. example 55% would be 5.5 volts output.

So you would not want to go over 65% for max when setting up the output. You might want to go with 64% or less. That should keep it below 6.5 volts since that would be 6.4 volts give or take a few tenths one way are the other.

Yep sorry just saw this thread, but all wave maker functions are available without the wave engine =)
Can you please tell me which cable did you use to connect your Tunze pumps to the X4?
