X4 / WE LE Collective Setup

Why does setting up a collective confuse the heck out of me? All I want to do is combine my X4 and my WE LE together. I have a command bus cable running from my X4 command bus port to my WE LE command bus port and a terminator in the second command bus port on my WE LE. I have power running into the second command bus port on my X4. Is this the right configuration before I turn this on?

1. Connect the power supply to the white port on the WELE.
2. Connect one terminator to one of the two command bus ports (blue) on the WELE.
3. Connect the command bus cable (blue) to the other bus port on the WELE.
4. Connect the other end of the command bus cable (blue) to one of the blue ports on the X4.
5. Connect a second terminator to the second command bus port on the X4.

Do not use the power pack that comes with the X4. It cannot be used with another power source on the buss.

You will select a Control and bring it into a collective. Be careful with the order which you do so. The collective will import the existing configuration of the first device. Subsequent device configurations will be wiped and will need to be reconfigured.
