Hey Hydros gang,
I have two tanks with Hydros setups. My first has an X4 and a XP8, and they have run flawlessly. My 2nd tank has an X2 and a wifi power strip, and I was getting tired of having wifi error messages so I ordered an XP8 to replace the wifi strip. I know the wifi strip still runs what's connected to it such as the heaters even when not connected, but using the feed mode was not working reliably.
I plugged the XP8 in last night for the first time, and nothing seemed to happen. No lights at all, and I seem to remember a series of clicks happening when I set up my first XP8. Is there anything I can do to troubleshoot it? I have tried plugging it into different wall outlets, and also e-mailed Hydros through the app last night but haven't had a response. I'm guessing it's DOA and will need to return it, but hoping there's something else I could try before going that route. I tried searching but didn't see anyone else with this issue.
