Well I'm confused. Got an email from coralvue today advising the XP8 was in stock. I had set the stock alert. Went to the Coralvue site to order one and is says only available from retailers.

It was a glitch in the system, and we caught it within 5 minutes. We are sorry about that.

And I was wondering. When it is released will there need to be an update to the app ext. released as well?

Yes, there will be an app and firmware update that will come before people get the units.

Can't come a minute too soon for those of us wanting to ditch the Apex energy bar EB832, which has been the weakest link in the Apex chain. An energy bar is the last thing you want to fail.

This is a great addition. Wondering though--will the wireless power strips support voltage monitoring? Or is that not at all possible with that specific hardware?

The current WiFi strips will never support it. It is not software, but they lack the necessary hardware to make it happen.
