Can iv take ph readings only?
The iV does not take any readings. It is a vessel with a built in stirrer and a place for 2 probes and a place to put tubing from the reagent, fill and drain pumps. The reading are taken by a controller with a pH port and a salinity port f you want to do salinity also in the iV. The main reason for it is alkalinity testing which uses a pH probe and a reagent to determine the alkalinity of the test sample. But in doing that it get a pH reading and salinity reading just before starting the alkalinity test.

I’m following all that. Sorry my question was probably not clear enough. I’m just asking if I can run a ph/salinity only test. I would like to get more ph/salinity readings throughout the day but not have full cycle run for alkalinity and use up excessive amounts of reagent.
