Hey everybody. I just setup my IV. I used a Blenny for the dosing pump because I already have a Launch with an available PH and Conductivity ports. I got everything setup according the Hydros instructions, calibrated the PH and Salinity probes, calibrated the dosing heads, primed all the lines.
I keep getting an error message about 5 minutes into it. When I start the test, it drains the beaker, fills it up, drains it again using the fill doser?, refills it and it just stops. I see the stirrer spinning so I know that works. My log says that it's dosed .2 ml of reagent. When it quits, it's still full of water and doesn't drain until I restart the test. Any ideas of what's happening?

The salinity showing 0 ppt does not seem right. There is two hidden inputs for the realtime reading for the p( and salinity inputs. It would be interesting to see what they are showing. I setup a page for all my testing and set the hidden tiles so they will be visible.I also setup so only the inputs and outputs that deal with testing show up on the page, This includes my static inputs I have setup. Also the reagent pump has to be a pump that has a flow rate at or near 3 ml per minute. The Blenny pumps will not do that.

I'm not sure where to even start troubleshooting what's happening. Any ideas where to start?
I can pick up a Hydros 2ml pump that I can plug into an open receptacle on my Launch to handle the reagent dosing. But, I'm not sure why it would stop mid test and leave a beaker full of water.

It sounds like it is getting to the reagent dispense part and stopping there with an error. Have you tried clearing the error and the doing a manual pH and salinity test to see if it also errors on that test. the only reagent dispense on that is a short amount at the very beginning otherwise it is the same up to the initial reagent dispense which does not happen on a pH salinity test only. It will do a drain in refill after the pH and salinity test complete if it does not have an error.

I'm trying but I can't figure out how to clear the error or run a manual test for the salinity or the ph.

I got the error code clear and the ph, salinity and alkalinity now say updating by rebooting the collective. I don't see an option to do a manual salinity or pH test

I found where to do a manual pH test. I'm not sure if the salinity is included in that because I don't see an option for a salinity only test. Sorry to blow you up about this.

I'm thinking maybe the PH and Salinity input is not configured to the right probe input? I try to choose salinity probe port- Launch salinity port but it's not giving me the option to choose the Launch port. Same with PH. This is what I'm getting on the setup screen.

Go to the settings for your iV test output and there is a setting for the output for both pH and salinity. There is an arrow that point at an angle up to the right of the probe port selection. this will take you to the settings for that input if you click on it. I assume you did calibrate those inputs after they were initially setup.

I got there. My probe K setting was on 1 when it needed to be 10 because I'm using the hydros lab grade Conductivity probe. It's set to the right probe port on the Launch. I added a temp input as well. I reran a PH test and I still get an error but it at least started showing me a salinity level! It's definitely not right but at least it's starting to work. Here's a few pics of what I've got onscreen now

Have you calibrated you pH probe. Those calibration numbers are not right, There should be a mv offset for pH 7 and a percentage on the pH 10 and pH calibration points. The percentage should be around 100%. Yours is showing 0% for both. The pH 4 calibration is needed when using the pH probe in the iV.

Well, I did, originally, but I see where they're reading 0 now. 🤔😑 I'll recalibrate them this evening and check back. Appreciate the help
