I am changing my return pump to a Varios 6, and want to connect to the Wave Engine; what do I need and how do I set up the 0-10v ports?

0-10v you would still need the pump controller.
If you want to hook it directly to a direct drive port you need the cable below.
This will allow you to eliminate the controller and power supply.
HYDROS Reef Octopus Varios 2/4 & OctoPulse 2/4 WaveEngine Pump Adapter
SKU: HDRS-WE-OCTPA
One good thing about keeping the various controller is that they can run independently if ever needed. Just unplug the 0-10 volt plug. It's the way I have my return pumps set up on purpose.gotcha, was hoping to get rid of all that... but it will be fine.
thank you for your help
The adpater cable for the WE has 4 cables where do they all go? One goes to the controller (which one) and the rest. Kinda feeling a little stupid on this one.. thank you for your helpOk sorry yea the 6 is only 0-10v.. I read the last post.
There is a port on the bottom of the VarioS controller for 0-10v. You need the controller and power supply for that.
