    0-10v. float problem

Update: I added the analog voltage tester for the channel, and when the float is down, voltage is 2.49-2.51. Report dry/wet bounces around independently. When the float is up, voltage is 0.0 and always shows wet (correctly).

    0-10v. float problem

Hi, So I connected a float switch via the 0-10v cable, exactly as Carlos showed on the video. But when I tested the float, in either up or down position, it jumps back and forth between wet and dry every few seconds, even when I don't move the float. I tried 2-3 volts instead of 1-3 , but...

    Hydros 101: 0-10V Ports

Hi, I got one of the female 3.5mm terminal block adapters to connect the 2 wires from the float switch to the Quad Cable. Your tutorial said to connect 1 wire to the TIP port, other wire to the SLEEVE port. But the marks on my block adapter from Amazon are L, R, and something that looks like...

    mounting brackets?

I have an odd space. Like mounting around a corner. So to add/change cords etc. I would have to unscrew the whole module then remount it. Would rather screw in once; then easier change as needed.

    mounting brackets?

I was thinking more like cradles, easy on easy off.

    mounting brackets?

How about some of you 3-D printers making mounting brackets for Hydros modules? The only one I can find is for the wifi 4 input power bar.

Thanks! I'll get the access point to play it safe.

    mesh?

I've been using the IceCap 4k Wifi Dual pump controller with my Mesh network. The mesh router (Netgear Omni) doesn't seem to allow separation of the two channels, but for months now it's worked with no problem. Now I've just bought a Hydros Control x4, and am wondering if it will also work...

    XP8 release

It's almost surely supply chain problems with microchips. Totally understandable. And there's always a risk promising release dates. But for those of us eager to buy in to Hydros, I don't think it's unreasonable to ask if we're talking here about days, weeks, months, or years to wait.

    Compatible Dosing pumps?

Thanks! Yes, reservoir is small. And when I get my new Hydros with the drive cord, I won't need to do this.

    Compatible Dosing pumps?

I'm assuming that because I don't have a drive port, I can plug the pump into an outlet using a 12v power supply instead of the drive port cable they include. Their site says "Power: 12V (You CAN use a regular 12V power supply and connect it to a WiFi Strip Outlet)" Right?

    Compatible Dosing pumps?

Does anybody know what model 12v power pack works with the Hydros dosing pump? I don't have drive ports (yet).

    XP8

Happened again? This morning I got a "back in stock" email from CoralVue that HYDROS Control X4 / XP8 PRO Pack was back in stock. But I can't find it anywhere for sale.

    XP8

Can't come a minute too soon for those of us wanting to ditch the Apex energy bar EB832, which has been the weakest link in the Apex chain. An energy bar is the last thing you want to fail.

    Apex powerhead link?

After a couple of years of disappointment, I am a gradual emigrant to Hydros. I've scanned lots of boards and have concluded that there is no way to connect my Apex WAV powerheads to WaveEngine. Am I missing something? They are good pumps and I hate to discard them.

Apex communicating with Hydros - slowing down pumps in feed mode

Hello, I followed Carlos' video on how to stop pumps for feeding by invoking Feed Mode from Apex. A couple of questions: 1. Why set Feeding Mode to 2v and Apex to send 20v? 2. And from this, how to invoke new Modes I create from Apex? Thank you!
