Yeah, Im debating on testing out one of these boosters in that same configuration to see if that's still true on models like this https://a.co/d/065drX4X
Kraken is great for emergencies to keep flow going (number 1 important thing in a power outage situation). Heaters are def more of a generator thing. You can go much longer without heat over flow.
No, the battery port does NOT support anything over like 15V. You can't use dual batteries.
However there is a DIY option of using boosters that take in 12V OR 24V and always produce 24V. Just note that using one of these has a ripple effect on current draw when in 12V mode. Basically current...
Other option is to use these 2 together. You’ll need some teflon pipe tape or similar to make sure the seal is good.

I’ve used these together to adapter the blenny hose to my ice cap dosing containers that use push fit 1/4”
This push fit into my dosing container.

Which goes from 1/4” to 3/16”
Then use 3/16” ID tubing (use short piece)

Then finally these barb...
Hydros START is now a cheaper option than the Launch to add 4 outlets. Tho its still around the price of a XP8. Tho you could get rid of that XS with a START as well.
Your DC voltage shows 12V, while it should be 24V if the meanwell power supply is ON. Plus the high negative current on the battery tells me that its pulling just from the battery and not from the meanwell. Check the meanwell supply.
The SD card on the XP8 is in a difficult place to get to, its on the top side of the board under where the command bus port mini-board is. Definitely reach out to support on how to change this out since it will take a few careful steps to access (removing the board from the faceplate, etc).
I have tried all 4, and only the DMP10 works with existing profiles. Also you need to make your own adapter for the pump using one of these Amazon.com
Use the pulse 2 profile for the DMP10... that being said I didn't try this long term. so your mileage may vary plus this isnt a coralvue...
This might work HYDROS Drive Port Cable
you might have to adapt the 5.5mm x 2.1mm barrel connector to another type if it doesnt fit. These types of kits can do that adapting Amazon.com
Doing with your resistor tree, would look something like this I suppose. Green are valid states. Red are invalid. 0.2V margin between valid and invalid states could be tight, but not impossible.
You could do something like this:
Gives you decent margin between normal states, 0.2V all open, 1.7V low closed, 3V low/med closed, 5V low/med/high closed. And also allows you to detect the case where the middle (most important) float has gotten stuck closed with a 2.5V output. I had to put...
Also simulate the situations where a float switch fails to close before a higher level switch does. you do not want 2 situations to generate the same output voltage, because then you wouldnt be able to tell what the actual state of the system is. Pulling the input to ground with a resistor also...
The mode control inputs are snapped 1V increments with auto rounding up/down. IE 1.4V will trigger a 1V mode select.
But if you just make an analog 0-10V input, you can scale the voltage up using the scale factor and have more fine resolution for your application. Use the Data type generic. IE...
