I keep getting alerts from my leak detector but there is no water on the floor. All day now at least 8 of them it alerts me then like an hour or less later it alerts me condition is no longer present.
Any ideas ?
Thanks

I guess it does now I'll mess with it set it 1 point down and see. Can the rope go bad ? I have not received any alerts since 245 cst then it cleared at 310pm

I have not head anything about one going bad. It could have got a drop or two on it and that was enough to cause it to trip at the setting it is at.

Ya who knows just glad I was home today or I would have had to go home from work lol.
Now if I get alerts do I believe them or not ?
Have to see rest of night and tomorrow what happens

So it's doing it again. Has not done it since I posted. I am at work I assume it's not making an audible alarm since my wife has not called me. I will take the rope off and clean it and maybe move on. I cannot trust this.
Is it leaking is it a false alarm idk pretty annoying

So did confirm with the wife all is dry.
No alarm sounding and it is glowing blue not red.
I will take the rope off and wipe it down later today when I get home and see what that does.

I have noticed that when the humidity in the room rises I have to ease up on the sensitivity setting. If I don't I will get false alerts.

Ya I was thinking that but at least for me does not seem to humid kinda cold this morning but maybe on the floor is different.
Here's a dumb question lol so on the settings to lower (to the left) for less sensitive and click to the right for higher sensivity.. is that correct.
I know it is but just checking.
For now I took the main pump off the leak detection so it keeps running.

That's my understanding and how it seems to work for me. I have both of mine set at 2v. At 1ish they go off with at times.

Well took the rope off wiped it down bunch of dust on it. Put it back on and tried it out by putting some water on it and idk it didn't sound an alarm or email me or breath red on the unit it did shut the pump off
So idk what's up with it.
Money is to tight to upgrade the control 2 to a 4 or another 2.
It's almost 2 years old really was hoping for longer life of it. I put a temp guage in the tank to see if the control 2 temp is correct

Then here is the how I am notified

Also, have you powered down and powered back up your controller to reboot it. The symptoms do not sound like a sensor since you did not get the alerts the inputs are setup for when you triggered it but the pumps powered off from the sensor.
