Power monitoring - please

Hi all

I’d really love to have the power monitoring data from my XP8 outlets graphed over time so I can see what my devices are consuming. I see the instantaneous info when clicking on a tile (per the pic attached) but I don’t want to sit and watch it to see spikes or changes over time. The data is here - you are already are monitoring it, I just want to see it graphed somewhere.

In my opinion the “power safe range” setting is a wild guess by the users without knowing what any historical data would be.

Pump data - a clean pump vs a dirty pump will draw different power. Heater data - is my heater really working or not.

This is a standard feature on the other system. They also have software recommendation for setting power safe ranges based on the historical data (it’s just statistical deviation calculations). I’m not even asking for that level of complexity. Just a simple graph of data that is already being monitored.

Just to bump this, I'd really like to be able to see the fluctuation in power use over time.

Right now I'm trying to diagnose some kind of fluctuating flow problem from night to day, and having a chart of my return pump power consumption would be very useful.

Also, my gyre (Icecap in WaveEngine) is failing oddly, and would be nice to contrast it's power use with the functional one.

I am not the engineer doing this but the one way I can see this being implemented is if they can create a input type for wattage and allow you to create an input of that type and let you select the wattage reading on a specific output as the input. This would also allow the creation of only the ones you want to track and not all of them since that could take a lot of resources doing them all.

Just got my XP8 yesterday as well thinking it had power monitoring graphing or at least a min/max over a time period. This was the main reason I upgraded over the WiFi strips!

Coralvue you already are taking the data, give us the graphing ability. It sucks that it doesn't have it. Let down when I found that out.

The only thing that the data is used for is to trigger an alert if it is out of the safe settings. Even inputs that have multiple inputs within only graph the main input and not all of them. My guess is they can only track one item per input or output in a graph for inputs or the logs for outputs.

Would it be difficult to add this power trending feature? Apex has it and its very useful.
