I am undecided to acquire with Hydros Control 4, I would like to know if in the not too distant future we will have some way to measure the salinity of the reef and it can be monitored with the current controllers.

Following I'm interested too.I am undecided to acquire with Hydros Control 4, I would like to know if in the not too distant future we will have some way to measure the salinity of the reef and it can be monitored with the current controllers.
I have been using a Pinpoint hand held meter for now. I had a conductivity probe with my Archon and it was not reliable enough to use to control anything. I have not really missed it. I check the tank once a week when doing my other weekly test. I would be nice to have current salinity readings but not a must have. I do auto water changes so I have a low level and high level sensor in the sump to catch an issue with auto water change. I have found that the ATO is more likely to catch it before the level sensors by alerting for maximum off time exceeded or maximum on time exceeded. Welcome to the group.Carlos, if you guys are working on a Conductivity or Salinity measurement, will it plug into the sensor port or maybe a new Control XP module for advanced probes (non-BNC) maybe a GX12 6-pin? I'm building out a new system to convert from my current APEX solution to HYDROS.
