1. Configure the Output (Outputs → Add New)
- Press the “+” to create a new output.
- Name: (e.g. “Inside Wavemaker”)
- Family: Select “Doser”
(Using a dosing-family output enables timing control used in step scheduling.)
- Set the Speed parameter to 2.0 (ml/min).
- Start Time: 07:00
- End Time: 19:00 (19:00 = 7 PM)
- This covers your 12-hour window for operation.
- Save / Upload changes. A yellow “Upload” button should be clicked to apply changes.
- Click SCHEDULES, then the “+” button to add.
- Name: e.g. “Wave Maker Schedule”
- Family: choose “Dosing Regimen”
- Dynamic Dosing: No
- Total Dose per Pump: 360 ml (calculated as 30 ml × 12)
- Dose Count: 12
(This splits the total dose into 12 equal events) - Doser Count: 1
(You are using a single pump/output but are using this to run the wavemaker) - 6. Assign the Doser
- Under “Doser 1,” select the output you created in Step 1.(inside wave maker)
- Speed: 2.0 (ml/min), matching the output speed
- Start Time: 07:00
- End Time: 19:00
- Run Every N Days: 1 (every day)
- Days of Week: Ensure all days are enabled (highlighted/blue)
- Click Save to finalize the schedule.
- Make sure the wavemaker pump is plugged into the XP8 outlet corresponding to the configured output.
- Upload all pending changes (typically via a yellow “Upload” or similar button).
